| Location: Broad Downs Farm, Devon | Client: Artillery Architecture and Interior Design |
| Date: August 2004 | Sector: Environment-Water, Waste and Energy |

Project Objectives:
- To examine the potential for the integration of renewable energy systems into the renovation of the farmhouse and buildings.
- Feasibility and viability study undertaken
- Report and financial appraisal for the client
How Aardvark Delivered:
- The renovation of the main house and conversion of the outbuildings presented a number of achievable solutions for the incorporation of sustainable systems to supply the fundamentals of water, energy, heat and waste. The potential was identified for the farm to be virtually self sufficient in the provision of services in the future.
- Aardvark undertook a feasibility and financial appraisal of the appropriate technology available which would provide a sustainable solution without compromise to specification and security of supply.
- The feasibility study provided the data to proceed to the next stage of commissioning and implementing the recommended systems.
